Halloween 2025 Special Early Look

  It started with an ending. Unfortunate news hit the world that on January 16th, 2025, the world got a little less colorful and strange. David Lynch passed away. Nothing will ever be the same without him. I wouldn't be the same person without his work. It's influenced me and countless other artists on deeply personal levels.  Like so many before me, I turned my grief into a drawing. I doodled my Bone Boy Billy as an agent of the FBI making a humorous recording for Diane. After that I watched a lot of Youtube videos about Lynch and his work and ended up re-watching the first season of Twin Peaks. BTB 4: Billy Origins Part 2 of 2

Welcome back to another Behind the Bones where we dig into ancient burials and unearth long dead secrets. Today we're completing the second half of Billy's adventure into existence! After a few years on and off tweaking Billy, the idea went dormant. Never fully formed. Never given enough time to become something more. A rough estimation of Billy's design around 2018 That was until 2018! When I began a new creative endeavor with two former companions. Such endeavor reignited my interest in creating Billy and I had finally decided to draw the dang thing for myself.
